Moorambilla Voices is more than a program about country kids learning about artistic expression, it’s a program that helps them find their voice, their passion and even their path for the future.  Established in 2006 it has brought together many communities as part of a unique cultural experience. In 2019, 3,481 children in 20 Local Government Areas were seen by Moorambilla’s Artistic Director inviting 122 schools from 54 towns as she delivered 79 skills development workshops, this takes the total of children involved in our gifted and talented program now to 35,500.
332 children over our three ensembles (33% of our first round offers identify indigenous with 76 indigenous kids participated) at Baradine residency camps created our program that was seen in the Dubbo Regional Theatre online by 9300 people and reached 15,500 and rising. In 2019 Moorambilla Voices exemplifies "More than a Choir" with 2 Full Time staff, 5 part time staff, 44 artists throughout the year over 19 events.

Each year over 300 students attend a camp where they dance, sing, compose, paint, weave, play taiko and learn about the cultural traditions and stories of their landscape. This is done in partnership with the highest quality professional musicians, performers, composers, dancers and visual artists.

We have been celebrated nationally to critical acclaim in documentary and feature film format –"Outback Choir" & "Wide Open Sky". Moorambilla has won every National award of excellence in our field, we have been led by our Founder and Artistic Director Michelle Leonard OAM for the entire 14 years. Michelle being originally from Coonamble, was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for Services to the Community and Performing Arts in 2017, 2018 the Sydney University Alumni of the year award for services to the arts and in 2019 was named in the Financial reviews top 100 most influential women in Australia.

Once part of the Moorambilla Voices these young people become part of a broader artistic family that allows them to develop their cultural identity through the telling of stories, travelling their lifelines and exploring the landscapes of the unique region of north-western NSW.

And while Moorambilla Voices is supported to some extent by contributions from government agencies and private donors, there is always a large shortfall that needs to be filled through fundraising to ensure the voices continue to sing, dance and drum. While all participants are subsidised, we don’t want any child to miss out if they can’t find the $660 they are asked to contribute themselves.  ANY financial help you can offer to help support these candidates in some of the most disadvantaged communities would be much appreciated. We know they are worth all the effort.

After fourteen years graduates of the program are now moving into tertiary education and planning the next phase of their lives, shaped in part by their experience with Moorambilla Voices; pursuing careers in music, community services and the environment.

Camelot is a not for profit centre for art and culture. We are situated in a beautiful historic Art-Deco building in the heart of Mosman Park, Western Australia. Our purpose is to present an annual program of art and culture events and opportunities ranging from performances, art exhibitions, workshops, indoor and outdoor films seasons, wellness programs, music events and more.

Our capacity to deliver creative and professional opportunities for artists and for the benefit of our audiences is made possible through income derived through our services, local government support and our committed and generous private donors.

We’re currently fundraising to reinvigorate our artistic program in 2019 by introducing a new uniquely designed exhibition space for WA artists to present their work and an artistic residency program to help develop WA talent, as well as many other new developments aimed to enrich the cultural landscape of Western Australia.

As we are a registered charity for the advancement of art and culture all donations are 100% tax-deductible.

The Social Studio is a safe place of belonging that strives to create awareness and change public perceptions for people who have experienced being a refugee.

We operate as a non-profit Incorporated Association, which is managed by a Board of Management elected by the membership. Kids’ Own Publishing gives children a voice and ownership in the world of books and literacy, and facilitates community storytelling.

107 Projects creates positive social change and supports emerging communities to be more connected, healthy and sustainable.

We’re a charity that self-generates 72% of our income, meaning your support goes direct to the human and artistic elements of what we do - encouraging people to live creatively at arts centres in Redfern and Green Square; and through 107 Presents, our investment umbrella to directly fund artists and community focused impact. We improve affordability for artists to create and present new work; supporting learners through to professionals.

Our programs aim to be proactive in addressing isolation and the issues that are born from disconnection. Through art and inclusive practices, we cultivate a sense of place, community spirit and civic participation. We create welcoming, safe places for all genders, LGBQTI, abilities, cultures, income and age groups. Redfern, and the communities that make it, have been the main beneficiary of our work; each year we engage with 35,000 visitors and 3,500 artists across 650 events.

In 2018, we’re expanding our reach by opening a second property, Joynton Avenue Creative Centre in Green Square, and through satellite events and public art commissions across broader Sydney.

We run free creative writing and storytelling workshops for young people aged 7 to 17, particularly those from marginalised backgrounds. Under the guidance of our expert storytelling team, young people work with volunteer tutors to write stories of all kinds, which we publish in as many ways as we can. Young people leave with the skills and confidence essential for future success.

Since 1952, Sunnyfield has been enriching the lives of people with disability by creating choice, opportunities and skills for life. We deliver nearly 2,000 support services for people with disability, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors. Sunnyfield employs over 1,230 staff in NSW and the ACT, to deliver accommodation services, assistance with daily life, social and community participation, supported employment, skills development, support coordination and clinical services.

Many of our students are mainly referred by employment and support agencies based in Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai, specialising in disability services, mental health and victims of domestic violence. The Team at HKCC is often graced with success stories from students achieving employment and/or independence within the community. Our art and leisure courses provide intellectual stimulation and the opportunity for social interaction for people in Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai areas.

YARN Australia is a Sydney based Aboriginal not-for-profit Organisation.

We engage in conversations in diverse ways in Metropolitan Sydney through our Corporate, Community, University, Schools, and Sixty Thousand Arts & Digital Program. Also across Australia with our Connecting to Country Programs.

Since 1788 different cultures have been finding ways to co-exist in Australia. We acknowledge that this history can be tough, upsetting, and confronting which is why our conversations, workshops and events always begin with developing safe environments for mutual respect and understanding to establish an open and respectful dialogue.

Creating safe spaces for unique conversations and experiences.

The Rainbow Arts and Culture Foundation recognises art as a major driver for social change. We manage and produces arts projects in the Pyrenees region of central Victoria.

We connect regional communities, establishing forums, events and programs through which new ideas can be developed and realised with confidence.

Through our annual art development grants program, local young people and artists are given the opportunity to construct, manage and present arts installations and productions in natural environments. An Artist in Residence professional development program supports artistic outcomes with management skills training, thereby building a self-sufficient localised arts industry.

The Foundation has a particular focus on collaboration and promotion of Australian Indigenous artists, arts and culture. We support and raise awareness for local Indigenous culture while fostering interaction with non-Indigenous community members.

We also use the arts as a vehicle to promote sustainable environmental practices, guiding local communities in the appreciation and preservation of the breathtaking natural environment of the Pyrenees.

Rainbow Arts and Culture Foundation enjoys strong support from local community groups and shire representatives. Together, we’re bringing a new awareness of the power art and culture has to improve outcomes across the whole community We are currently developing a major long term community arts project "The Pyrenees Sculpture Park and Trail". The 10-year strategic development plan will connect communities with major sculpture installations, and create a new creative tourism destination across the shire.

Ngungwulah Aboriginal Corporation’s primary objective is to advance Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people’s culture within the Australian yoga community.

Through respectful introduction of conversation, learning opportunities and communications activities based on the Reconciliation Action Plan held by Yoga Australia, we will create an integrated role for First Nations people within the yoga community.

The corporation aims to:

• Amplify the voice of our First Nations yoga teachers throughout the country by providing support to the Yaan Circle

Charity Bounce is a not for profit organisation that exists to inspire positive change to overcome disadvantage for individuals and communities. Ausdance NSW is the peak body for dance in NSW, we have a 45-year history of educating, inspiring and supporting the dance community. We are a membership organisation.

We provide advice, advocacy and dance programs in different contexts and environments, both directly and indirectly and in partnership with other State and Federal government departments, Local Government Authorities, dance companies, organisations, educational institutions, businesses, and dance studios. We liaise with government bodies and other sectors, such as youth, ageing and education, to help foster a sustainable and successful dance sector.

Advocacy expands beyond the bounds of our current funding, with the Ausdance team working beyond our means to make significant changes for the dance sector, not just for now, but moving forward to a future which is better than the one we just left.

Completed in 2013.

In 2017 I am travelling around Australia with my partner to shoot the next film simply titled ONE DRUM II, for the moment. This is a totally self funded project, though any contributions will be greatly appreciated for the completion of the film. Though the film will be completely different from the first, it will feature deep spiritual context from both myself and the people that are interviewed along the way.

Since 2005 Beyond Empathy has been working to cultivate mutual trust and a shared willingness to build close-knit and trusting neighbourhoods. Through the process of creating and sharing art, we support these neighbourhoods to unravel the effects of social disadvantage by building new pathways into improved health and wellbeing, learning, employment, and social inclusion.

Centre For Hope is all about empowering disadvantaged young people to respect themselves, to connect to the wider community and to create an inspired life.

Our team works with Australian youth aged 6 to 18 years who are suffering adversity through causes such as financial hardship, mental disorders, physical and learning disabilities, mental, physical and sexual abuse, substance abuse and suicidal tendencies and who, because of their circumstances, suffer a significant degree of helplessness.
We work with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students to assist them to find their place in their world.

St John’s Youth Services works with young people in the Adelaide metropolitan area who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. As well as individuals, we accommodate and support young couples, families, single mums or dads, and their dependent children.

We believe in young people and refuse to define them by their temporary experience of homelessness. Instead, we focus on each young person’s talents and ambitions, and their capacity to overcome challenges in their past and take control of their future.

Since St John’s Youth Services was established in 1981, we have supported more than 15,000 young people experiencing homelessness or crisis. We know what works, and have a proud record of developing innovative service models to change young lives for the better.

Outloud is an award-winning intersectional, CALD-focused social impact arts organisation that creates genuine, meaningful, inspiring opportunities for young people in Western Sydney. Perth Centre for Photography is Western Australia's only dedicated photographic arts organisation. Our aim is to promote and support emerging and established photo-based art in Western Australia. Regional Youth Support Services (‘RYSS’) is a leading youth support agency and is a registered charity and Not For Profit. RYSS deliver front line youth support services and innovative engagement strategies to vulnerable young people between the ages of 12 and 25, and their families in communities. Our main purpose is to help the disadvantaged to relieve poverty and distress and target people in need. RYSS is now in its 34th year of providing local, intensive case management, community outreach programs, early intervention support, material relief from poverty, family reconnections, Indigenous support programs, fundraising events, and education to reduce harm, poverty and distress. RYSS’ longstanding history means that we possess a deeply grounded understanding of how to assist the diversity of young peoples needs and foster true empowerment – an understanding that helps drive our many innovative and focused public programs and support strategies.

Sydney Pacifica is Australia's largest high school cultural festival for Pacific, NZ Maori & Aboriginal Indigenous students.

Sydney Pacifica is run by young people for young people & is a welfare tool that encourages young people to believe in themselves, graduate from high school & ultimately know what they want to do by forming early educational pathways to higher education, TAFE, employment or trade school.

Sydney Pacifica works in collaboration and in partnership with all areas of the community - government, non-government, business & youth organisations - to achieve their annual event.

There are 12 parts to the Sydney Pacifica concept:
(1) Expression of interest - NSW high school principals register their school to participate in the year long program & annual performance event
(2) Youth Leadership Program - run specific Pacific & Aboriginal school holiday programs for high school students around culture, identity & annual Sydney Pacifica theme
(3) Youth Leadership Graduation - students are valued & officially graduated at the Australian Museum
(4) Career, Education

Bawurra Foundation's aims to engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to increase school retention and literacy rates by providing a new and engaging way to learn about culture and community. Community relationships are built on trust to share true cultural identity and help preserve valuable Songlines, Language and history on the Bawurra Digital Library. Our digital library acts as both an engagement tool for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, helping drive interest with culturally relevant materials, and as a digital textbook and cultural education tool for all Australian students and staff in the education system. Bawurra promotes the Indigenous culture of the many nations within Australia with a history of over 60,000 years.

The ATYP Foundation’s purpose is to provide money, property and additional benefits to ATYP with the objective to advance, develop and promote the performing arts. The capital funds raised through the Foundation assist in maintaining a sustainable financial platform on which ATYP can thrive.

A gift to the ATYP Foundation further strengthens the company and its products in every way: the quality of productions, the development of the next generation of artists and the expansion of our educational and outreach programs.

Citizen Tasmania provides people with the means to tackle challenges within their communities through education, empowerment and connection. We use the arts as a vehicle for social change and transformation to create a society that upholds human rights, where people have the means to tackle challenges in their communities and reach their potential. Our particular focus is to support Tasmanians of migrant, refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds to thrive.

The UN 17 sustainaility goals list goal #4 as Universal Lifelong Learning by 2030. This is an ambitious goal. We wish to roll out eSOLEMATES as a way to implement this goal by applying connectivism.
We are seeking fundng to apply the methods of Dr Sugata Mitra to a small SOLE unit in a housing commision estate at Cranebrook NSW.
This will be used for setup and ongoing operational expenses.
This will allow us to apply connectivism to social learning in a disadvantaged community.

Since 1944 the Actors Benevolent Fund has been providing a safety net for actors and entertainment professionals of all ages, giving critical financial help at their greatest time of need. Administrated by a Management Committee of volunteers from the entertainment industry, it is a registered charity that relies on public donations and the generosity of our colleagues to give confidential support for our fellow artists when they are at their most vulnerable.
Our Ambassadors are Jacki Weaver and Russell Crowe.

Operating since 2006, Koya Aboriginal Corporation (Koya) is a 100% Aboriginal owned not-for-profit organisation. Guided and led by Aboriginal people and with a focus on engaging and retaining Aboriginal staff. The organisation’s mission is to gather Aboriginal grassroots knowledge and community-lived experiences about what builds individual, kin and community strength, so that Aboriginal and vulnerable children and young people may grow, succeed and thrive in their chosen life journey.

Koya is an inclusive community group that welcomes other vulnerable children and families and we use our Kinship Care model to connect communities to each other. Underpinning Koya’s delivery of services and programs is the Pindi Pindi Centre for Research Excellence in Aboriginal Wellbeing which, through research and evaluation based on the principles of sustainability, empowerment and cultural security, provides evidence to inform program development, implementation and delivery.

The untimely death of an Aboriginal young person in 2016 highlighted community concern for stronger engagement with youth, demonstrated by the high rate of youth antisocial behaviour occurring in the community.

Koya has operated in the Swan region since 2006 and in Kwinana region from 2017 and has served all members of that community, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, in a variety of different ways.

Our purpose is to transform, inspire and enrich the lives of disadvantaged children through learning and playing music. We believe music is for all children, no matter their social, economic status or ethnicity.

Creative Partnerships Australia manages the the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF), a fundraising platform for Australian artists. The ACF has helped raise more than $25 million for Australian artists, allowing them to share stories, passion, and creativity around Australia and the world. The Australian Cultural Fund makes it easy for artists to create, and art lovers to donate.

KwaYa is a charity founded and based on the Gold Coast Australia.
We are 100% volunteer run and guarantee 100% of every dollar goes towards the project for which it was raised.
We raise funds for vulnerable children in Africa by running cultural exchange tours for Australians in Uganda and Africans in Australia.
More than 1000 volunteers across Australia make up the backbone of KwaYa Australia. Ordinary but extraordinary human beings take time out of their busy lives to keep the dream alive enabling us to continue to support the education and mentorship of countless children and young adults in Africa.

At the Australian Design Centre, we showcase the best craft and design across the country and share it with the rest of the world. We tour exhibitions through regional Australia reaching and engaging broad new audiences, including young Australians. We use the tools and methodologies found in design practice today to develop young people's creative skills through our programs.

When you support the Australian Design Centre all Australians benefit with donations going directly to deliver programs, education and exhibitions.

Established in 1986, The Parramatta College Inc is a Registered Training Organisation and an adult education provider. We offers a wide range of short courses and accredited training in Business services, Information technology, Training and Assessment, Retail services, Customer Contact, and Pet Grooming and Styling. The College can also deliver customised training programs to best meet the local community needs. We specialise in assisting disadvantaged learners reengage in their community.

Arena produces high quality, original and artistically ambitious theatre for young people. Our work is presented by Australia’s major theatre producers and arts centres, and toured internationally.

We believe in theatre’s unique ability to provide a space of reflection, celebration and transformation for young people. Our aim is to speak to young people in languages they understand, in the spaces they occupy, but in ways they never thought possible.

The Aurora Australis Foundation works to preserve the legacy of Australia's only locally-built and longest-serving Antarctic icebreaker, the Aurora Australis.

The AAF also supports the preservation and promotion of Australian Antarctic heritage and history.

We are currently fundraising to support a new heritage project to commemorate Australia's history of Antarctic shipping. The intent is to build a display centred around the Antarctic support boat Aurora Australis II and be located on the Hobart waterfront.

We are also developing new projects including an online tour of the Aurora Australis, creating an oral history, photo and film archive for the Aurora Australis.

Our long-term goal is to establish a national Australian Antarctic Museum based in Hobart. Our dream - one day! - is to bring the Aurora Australis back to Australia and Hobart to share this remarkable ship with the nation.
